Down Home Ranch's mission is to empower the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through social, educational, residential and vocational opportunities. They provide a high quality of life for their residents, offering lifelong opportunities and supporting individual choice. Their programs make it possible for everyone to benefit from their unique environment.
We are slated to be performing miscellaneous greenhouse tasks based on the needs of the horticulture department at Down Home Ranch.
Important Info:
- Volunteer count will be capped at 20! DHR cannot accomodate more individuals and chaperones. To hold your spot you must enter you name in the volunteer slot at the bottom on the page. If you don't make the first 18 teen spots, then you can sign up for the waitlist just in case someone cannot come due to last minute sickness.
- All participants must sign a waiver in advance (more info on that later).
- You are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
- Dress comfortably in loose-fitting clothing.
- Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated!
