OUR MISSION STATEMENT

FISCHETeen (Families In Support of Catholic Home Education for Teens) exists to provide a safe, healthy, teen community for Catholic homeschoolers that will promote personal, spiritual, and emotional growth.

SPIRITUAL PILLAR

Together we learn to foster our faith and growth in mind, heart, and spirit for Christ and His Church

SERVICE PILLAR

We participate in the life, mission, and work of the Church in service to others

SOCIAL PILLAR

We lift each other up as we build strong, nurturing, faith-filled friendships.

WHAT WE DO

We get together just about every Friday during the typical school year.

The First Friday of every month we host a retreat. With 50-60 Catholic Teens attending Mass, having lunch, and hearing great guest speakers, plus music, games, and adoration, these retreats are the heart of FISCHETeen.

We host one Service Project every month. From fund raisers to making baby blankets for the residents of Annunciation Maternity Home, praying in front of a local abortion clinic to running Advent and Lent Workshops for the younger Catholic homeschooling crowd, we know how to serve Christ and His Church, and have fun doing it

Most every other Friday of the year, you’ll find us having a great time together attending dances, hosting Bunco tournaments, bowling, enjoying ice-cream socials, and much more. Our favorite thing to do is put on huge, elaborate Murder Mystery Parties with costumes, scripts, and lots of junk food!

We also have a Teen Board where students gain valuable leadership and collaboration skills.

HOW TO JOIN

Catholic homeschoolers between the ages of 13-18 can join.

There is a $50 membership fee to join FISCHETeen. These funds are used for facility rental, retreat and administration costs, clergy honoraria, service project supplies, and Murder Mystery Parties. FISCHETeen will not turn anyone away due to lack of ability to pay the fees.

Memberships are active August 1 through July 31.
