The festivities will begin with a light dinner provided by the Kerner family.

- Girls bring a sweet treat

- Boys bring a drink to share.

- Each individual bring a wrapped white elephant gift to exchange.

White Elephant Gift Exchange

What makes the best white elephant gifts? They can be thrifted, recycled or better yet, free gifts that you already own. If you  are purchasing something please do not spend more than $20.

Funny. Funny  gifts make the biggest splash at the party, but aren’t always the most desirable items for swapping.

Weird. Weird artwork and gadgets are also popular at Christmas gift swaps, and are often highly sought after.

Nice. There’s  nothing wrong with buying a genuinely nice gift, especially since it has  the potential to fuel a lot of competition during the game.

In short, there’s a place for all sorts of different items in a gift  exchange. But if there’s one quality that all gifts should have, it’s  that they should be interesting. Google some of these ideas to get your  creativity flowing:

-an odd cup/dish/mug/coaster

-unusual food item/candy (did you know there is a bacon chocolate bar?)

-tshirts/hats/socks/bags/fanny packs/aprons/blankets

-recycled art

-games/toys/dolls/puppets

-unusual tools/trinkets

Note:  The Kerner's live in a gated community.  If the gate is closed upon arrival, enter code 6145.  Also there is no entry to the neighborhood from 1431 (although google maps thinks there is an entrance).  You can only enter the neighborhood via Crystal Falls Parkway or CR 290.
