Blessing Mass and Retreat

It's a new year and we have so many new things going on in our world, our community, and in FISCHETeen. This year we will continue our mission of providing a safe, healthy, teen community for Catholic homeschoolers. With a pandemic in place it certainly will be more challenging to meet our mission, but with God all things are possible. Know that all that we are planning for this year is for the sake of keeping our mission as we serve our Catholic homeschool community.  I hope that you will all be understanding, flexible, and supportive as we tread these new waters.

This year St. Patrick Church in Hutto will be hosting our monthly retreats. We will begin with Mass at 10 a.m. which will be open to ALL homeschooling families. We will continue to have our monthly speakers and adoration, however we will only have access to the church for three hours so there will need to be some changes.  One of the biggest changes this year is that we will be sharing the facilities with FISCHE. Yes, homeschoolers with younger children will also be meeting on church grounds or in surrounding areas while FISCHETeen is on retreat. So if you have littles, pack a lunch for the whole family. Note that while we will all be attending Mass together, and participating in parts of adoration together, the littles will have separate activites and separate lunch hours with their parent. We feel it's important for the development of a child to have friends that will encourage and support them in their faith and we want to do our best to continue to provide that environment for our teens and younger children.
